Xbox 25th Anniversary Halo Accessories
- Microsoft's Designed for Xbox 25th Anniversary collection is now open for pre-order, with nearly all items finished in translucent OG Green to honour the original Halo Xbox.
- The range includes 25th anniversary editions of the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse, BlackWidow V4 75% keyboard, and Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed earbuds, plus an 8BitDo charging
- A special-edition Backbone Pro mobile controller in clear, translucent blue, or translucent orange is sold as a blind box, so buyers cannot choose their colour in advance.
Microsoft has unveiled its Designed for Xbox 25th Anniversary collection, a range of limited-edition peripherals now available for pre-order that pays tribute to the translucent green aesthetic of the original Halo special edition Xbox console.
A collection rooted in nostalgia
Almost every item in the collection adopts the translucent "OG Green" colourway, deliberately echoing the Halo-branded original Xbox hardware from the early 2000s. The palette also aligns the accessories with the Xbox Series X25 limited-edition console, which Microsoft unveiled in June at E3. Among the Razer hardware included are 25th anniversary editions of the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse, the Razer BlackWidow V4 75% gaming keyboard, and the Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed earbuds — all rendered in the same translucent green finish. Those seeking wireless audio alternatives may also find interest in Sennheiser's Momentum True Wireless 5 earbuds, which launched with a focus on longevity through replaceable batteries.
Wider accessories and a blind-box wildcard
Beyond the Razer peripherals, the collection extends to a translucent green 8BitDo Ultimate charging dock compatible with Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One controllers, and a translucent green GameSir X5 Lite mobile controller for Xbox. A black PowerA sling bag is also included, making it the sole item in the range to forgo the signature green finish.
The most unpredictable entry is a special edition of the Backbone Pro mobile controller. Unlike a translucent green version released last year, this anniversary variant comes in three colourways — clear, translucent blue, and translucent orange — but is sold as a blind box, meaning buyers will not know which colour they receive until the product arrives. The collection arrives at a moment of considerable activity in the gaming peripheral market, with Gamescom 2026 also drawing renewed attention to hardware and software announcements across the industry.
Availability
All items in the Designed for Xbox 25th Anniversary collection are open for pre-order, though pricing details were not included in the available material at the time of publication.
